Join Honorary Chair Karen Adams of WPRI-TV for the First Annual Best Buddies Rhode Island Celebration of Friendship, a cocktail reception to celebrate individuals who support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and highlight organizations and corporations who have a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
Over 200 guests will enjoy the artistic and musical talents of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the beautiful setting of the Botanical Gardens at Roger Williams Park. Catering provided by Pranzi Catering of Providence.
Our silent auction includes NYC weekend “Stay and Play” packages, bountiful gift baskets, Boston Fun package, Golf Foursomes at some of the best Country Clubs in Rhode Island, a beautiful pearl necklace and so much more…

100% of the revenue generated from this event will allow us to further our mission and provide opportunities for one-to-one friendships and leadership development for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our Mission:
Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant, international organization that has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,500 college, high school and middle school campuses across the country and internationally and impact more than 700,000 individuals this year alone.
While we have accomplished a great deal, there is much work still to be done. We have a waiting list of schools that would like to be part of Best Buddies. Additionally, Best Buddies Rhode Island hopes to expand its programs to include the Best Buddies Citizens program.
Individual donors like you are an integral piece of this support. Your contributions will help shape the future of Best Buddies Rhode Island, enabling us to serve more individuals throughout the state and to continue to create opportunities for one-to-one friendships to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Tickets to attend the event are $75 and include one drink ticket (Beer or Wine) and can be purchased on-line.
