19th Annual Best Buddies Leadership Conference: Champions for Friendship

INDIANA UNIVERSITY
The Best Buddies International Leadership Conference will bring together top leaders from high school and colleges worldwide to discuss topics on social inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities, leadership, communication, fund raising, and a variety of other topics.

Open to all ages and abilities! The event features a 100, 62, or 15-mile bike ride, and 5K run, and 3K walk options. With participation of celebrities and professional athletes, a gourmet barbecue and concert by the Black Eyed Peas, this event has something for everyone!

Best Buddies Rhode Island Teams Up With Local Theater Company
Westport, Massachusetts
Best Buddies Rhode Island collaborated with the Classical Players Theatre Company in Shakespeare's romantic comedy, A Midsummer's Night Dream. The play ran from July 20 through Aug. 19 at Sakonnet Vineyards in Little Compton, Running Brook Vineyards in N. Dartmouth, MA, and Westport Rivers Vineyards in Westport, MA. |

Students will experience team building at it's best, be challenged to explore their full potential, tap into their power to motivate and encourage others, and translate awareness into quality friendships between students with and without intellectual disabilities. |
